93-year-old Abraham Bosman died last month in an auto accident at Pleasant Drive and U.S. 1 in South Florida.
The driver of the car in which Bosman rode was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of U.S. 1 and Pleasant Drive in his 2000 Isuzu last month at about 5:30 p.m. The driver, James Corbett, 63, of West Palm Beach, was then struck by another car.
The second car, driven by Ellen Siegel, 70, of Singer Island, was driving southbound on U.S. 1, approaching the intersection of Pleasant Drive when she drifted into the shoulder and struck Corbett's Isuzu.
Bosman was a passenger in Siegel's car and was pronounced dead at the scene. Siegel was transported to St. Mary's Hospital for injuries sustained in the car accident. Corbett sustained minor injuries and was reportedly released at the scene. An investigation is continuing.
For families and friends of Mr. Bosman, the accident illustrates how fragile and precious life is.
