Fatal Traffic Accident at 3900 Elysian Street

Reports say Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred at 3900 Elysian Street on a Saturday afternoon late last month.

Reports say Luis Armando Maldonado Arita, 32, of Houston, was driving a silver Honda Accord northbound in the 3900 block of Elysian at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle. The Honda struck a light pole, essentially splitting the car in half. Arita was pronounced dead at the scene.
