Police Investigate Houston Infant's Death

Houston police were awaiting autopsy results in the death of a baby girl at 226 Hoffman that occurred early last month, reports say.

The victim, 2 months old, was evidently found unresponsive by her mother at home on Hoffman. Emergency personnel responded to the scene, attempted CPR and then took the baby to the hospital, reports say. But the child was later pronounced dead.

The investigation is continuing.
