A woman was found dead in Antigua after she strayed from a barbecue near Pigeon Point Beach while on a Royal Clipper cruise, reports say.
The woman, an unidentified 30-year old from New Mexico, was stabbed to death. She was found several hours after disappearing on a secluded trail at Windward Bay, Antigua, reports say.
The cruise line, Star Clippers, have been working with authorities to apprehend the alleged assailant and they have a description of the man.
In the meantime, Star Clippers have pulled out of Antigua, reports say, with security concerns. The Antigua stop has been replaced with Nevis on the remaining cruises. The situation will be readdressed in April 2011.
