Houston Auto Fatality Investigated

|

Houston police continue their investigation of a fatal car crash on the popular Southwest Freeway (U. S. Highway 59 South) service road near South Gessner that occurred about 3:30 a.m. March 29th.

The accident occurred when the driver of a white Chevrolet truck, traveling outbound on the Southwest Freeway service road, reportedly struck a white Nissan Frontier pickup truck traveling northbound on South Gessner.

The victim, a male passenger in the Nissan, was partially ejected from the vehicle and was killed. The driver of the Nissan was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in unknown condition. The driver of the Chevrolet was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital, also in an unknown condition, reports say.

Unfortunately, both drivers exhibited signs of intoxication and either or both reportedly face charges in this incident, but the investigation is continuing.

In an incident where either or both drivers are at fault and there is one victim, the obligation is on the victim's family to find fault with one primary driver, or both together. In this case, expert counsel is critical.
