Houston police are continuing to investigate a fatal traffic accident that occurred at 4200 Tidwell about 2:25 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 28th.
The accident occurred as the victim was operating his motorcycle, a black Yamaha, westbound on Tidwell at a high rate of speed. As he changed lanes in an attempt to pass another vehicle, the victim lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a telephone phone. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim, male, 49, is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.
Motorcyclists know whether right or wrong on the road, they come in second place in an accident. But knowing the risks and actually living through them are two different things.
