Andrew Thomas Smith Jr., a resident and native of the Pala Indian Reservation, died after being hit by one or more cars while walking on a highway on his Pala Indian Reservation lands. His ATV was found nearby, according to reports.
Reports say Smith was found lying unconscious and responsive in the road at Pala Temecula Road and Moro Road late last month. When motorists found him, he was already unconscious and was transported by private vehicle to the Pala Fire Station, where he was pronounced dead.
Smith was a resident of the North County Pala reservation, where he lived with his father.
