A New York man was killed in a Manhattan elevator shaft accident that has most scratching their heads in New York.
According to reports, an unidentified male was killed around 10 p.m. in a mostly deserted building at 18th Street and Park Avenue.
Although facts are limited, reports say the man somehow became wedged between the elevator car and the shaft. Reports say emergency services is wondering how anybody could manage to do that, especially at an off-hours time, where there would have been little reason for anybody to be tampering with the device. The investigation was continuing.
