Boy Rides Bike into Pool, Drowns

Reports say police are investigating the drowning death of an 8-year-old boy at a New Castle County home pool.

Reports say Aiysir Bess was riding his bike in the backyard of the house when he crashed and fell into the pool. Bess, who had been visiting from Philadelphia, was pulled from the pool and was receiving CPR from those at the scene when paramedics arrived at the home.

Although emergency crews continued the CPR and Bess was rushed to Christiana Hospital, he died.
