Possible Link Between Red Bull and Heart Trouble?

|

Reports say drinking too much Red Bull may lead to heart damage, a reported study says.

Reports say a recent study of 30 university students aged between 20 and 24 years old found that drinking just one 250ml sugar-free can of the energy drink increased the risk of possible blood clots.

The same reported study said that after drinking one can of the drink, participants showed a cardiovascular profile similar to that of someone with heart disease. Red Bull reportedly denied the findings.

Red Bull is currently banned in some countries. Denmark, Norway and Uruguay have restrictions on the sale of the drink, according to reports.

A teenager was hospitalized after drinking eight cans of Red Bull. Paramedics reported that the 15-year-old suffered heart palpitations.

Red Bull was created in Austria in the 1980s, with annual sales of some 3.5 billion cans sold in 143 countries.
