Man killed Houston Rodeo Roller Coaster

A Houston man fell from a roller coaster to his death last week the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo outside of the Reliant Center at around 9 p.m..

Reports say the victim, Brian Greenhouse, fell about 30 feet from the roller coaster called HiMiler, landing on another man who was walking near the ride.

Emergency crews were called and administered CPR to the man who fell. He was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital. The other man was transported to another medical facility and treated for a broken ankle. The man who fell was pronounced dead after attempts at reviving him failed.

The accident marks the first-ever fatal accident at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo from a ride in the nearly four-decades old event. An investigation into the cause continues.
