Houston police are continuing their investigation of a fatal traffic accident that occurred in the 8200 block of Westheimer about 2:05 p.m. on Thursday, April 28th.
The victim was reportedly attempting to cross Westheimer without using a marked crosswalk. He was struck by a tan Toyota Camry traveling eastbound. The pedestrian, only identified as a male pedestrian, 55, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
So far, no charges are expected to be filed against the driver.
