Houston police are continuing to investigate a fatal traffic accident between a mid-sized pickup truck and a freeway light pole in the 16100 block of El Camino Real which occurred about 5:10 p.m. on Saturday, April 23rd.
The victim was reportedly driving a red Chevrolet S10 pickup truck southbound on El Camino Real. The truck veered from the road and struck a light pole between the northbound and southbound lanes for unknown reasons and the driver was killed.
A female passenger was transported via Life Flight Helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital, and a male passenger was transported to Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital. Both passengers are in stable condition. No other vehicles were involved in this accident.
