One person has been killed and another individual has been injured in a head-on collision caused by a big rig operator that crossed over the median on a Wisconsin Highway. The Wisconsin semi-truck accident occurred just before eight in the morning on Highway 14 near the town of Spring Creek. The Wisconsin semi accident occurred in Sauk County.
Saul County Sheriff Chip Meister reported to the public and press on the Wisconsin semi-truck accident. He advised that a semi was traveling westbound on Highway 14. The commercial truck crossed over the center line and collided with a Toyota RAV4 head-on. The impact forced both vehicles into a ditch. Meister reported that both vehicles sustained extensive damage.
The Sheriff went on to advise that the driver of the SUV died from injuries at the scene of the accident. The semi-driver suffered what have been described as minor injuries. He was taken to a local hospital. It is now known presently whether the big rig operator has been released from the hospital as of this time.
